Author, Laura Pauley, hired Barbastic for her Asian-themed book launch party. When asked what she thought of the personalised cocktail bar that we created for her, she had this to say:
“My second book, My Asian Summer, is a memoir about backpacking Asia with my five-year-old. Asia is a fun, lively, colourful continent so I wanted my book launch party to replicate that. Barbastic were incredible in helping me recreate a Thailand full-moon party-esque bar. I wanted a collection of popular summertime cocktails, such as a Pina Colada and Tequila Sunrise, but I wanted them renamed to replicate various destinations on the trip. Barbastic were incredible in helping bring my Asian cocktail bar to life. Of all of the stalls I had at the book launch, the bar was by far the most talked about element because of its personalisation and cheap prices.”
